1. If you need to request an excusal or postponement you must submit it at least one week prior to your report date. Requests can be submitted through:
   • The jury online portal
   • Email: jury@sanbenitocourt.org 
   • Phone:  831-636-4057, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
2. Check your reporting status which will tell you the date and time to report to the courthouse for jury service. You must check the Friday before your report date either on the online portal or by calling the court AFTER 4PM and listen to the recording with the jury instructions.
3. If your group is listed to report on Monday, you must come to the courthouse at the time provided. The report time is usually 8:30 AM, if you are unsure of your report time, please report at 8:30 AM.
4. If your group number is listed as “On Call” you must call the courthouse on Monday AFTER 4 PM and listen to the recording or check the online portal to see if you need to report for jury service on Tuesday.
5. Once a jury has been selected for the week's trial, all other jurors summoned will be excused. Your jury status on the website will show "Service Ended" and will no longer have a report date. If you call the court, there will be a recording stating that all jurors on call have been excused.
