Court Internship
Applications are now open for the 2026 Summer Court Internship!
What is the Court Internship Program?
The Superior Court Internship Program is a five‑week in-person program that gives students a real look at how the court works day to day. Interns spend time in different departments, sit in on live hearings, and meet the people who keep the court running: judges, commissioners, attorneys, and staff. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of how cases move through trial courts.
Throughout the program, interns rotate through major areas of the court, including Criminal, Civil, Family Law, Self‑Help, and Jury Services. They also learn how the court collaborates with partners like probation, public defenders, district attorneys, and community organizations. The goal is to help students build confidence, ask questions, and start thinking about what a future in law or public service might look like for them.
