CHAPTER 9
PRESENTATION OF COURT PAPERS
RULE 9.1 CAPTION ON PLEADINGS

Each pleading shall contain a heading with the following:
| 1) |
Department of
the Superior Court in which the case is to be filed;
|
| 2) |
Whether the case
is one that prior to unification would have been
filed in the municipal court, or if it is a matter
described in CRC, Rule 709, insert the word "Limited"
above the case number; for all other matters insert
the word "General" above the case number;
|
| 3) |
The amount demanded
which shall be stated as: "Amount demanded exceeds
$10,000" or "Amount demanded does not exceed $10,000"
and placed immediately below the title of the action
or proceeding.
Each pleading shall comply in all respects with
CRC, Rules 311-319 inclusive, CRC, Rules 201 and
501 and statute. |

RULE 9.2 FOOTER

Each filed paper, except for exhibits, shall bear a footer
in the bottom margin of each page pursuant to CRC, Rule
201(f).
